This tightly contested duel just keeps making headlines. Punished for His Clash with Dillon Brooks, Steph Curry Outraged
Initially fouled by Brooks, Curry ended up on the floor and saw him snatch the ball from his hands. Tension quickly escalated, resulting in three technical fouls called—one on each of them and one on Green. Indeed, Steph isn’t entirely innocent in the matter, as he actually responded to a provocation made just seconds earlier by his opponent.

He could still play tough defense on him. Teasing as ever, the Chef proudly acknowledged provoking Brooks’ second technical… something the referees didn’t miss. With a clear sense of injustice, he reflected on the sequence during the postgame press conference:
Stephen Curry: “It was so stupid because he literally did the same thing to me on the previous play. I just gave it back to him, but the refs only saw my reaction. It’s like in a sibling rivalry—it’s always the one who retaliates who gets in trouble.”
The Dubs’ star point guard could at least take comfort in the 109-106 win, bringing him and his team closer to the conference semifinals
Somewhat provoked by Dillon Brooks, Steph Curry didn’t hesitate to respond… which earned him a technical foul. We’ll see if he learns his lesson ahead of Game 5 between his Warriors and the Rockets, set to take place this Wednesday in Houston.
