Possible MVP very soon with the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic didn’t have a great game against the Thunder on Wednesday night. The Serbian was quickly mocked, and will have to react for the next game.
While we were treated to a tight encounter between New York and Boston, it was a different scenario between Oklahoma City and Denver on Wednesday night. The Nuggets failed to pull off a second heist and quickly sank instead, conceding 21-45 in the first quarter. The final result? 106-149 for the Thunder, who reassure themselves before heading to Colorado.
It was a shameful defeat for Nikola Jokic’s team-mates, to the extent that there was nothing positive to take away from the game. They’ll need to bounce back in Game 3 in front of their home crowd, especially Jokic, who is eagerly awaited by the fans. It has to be said that he had a very bad time against OKC.

Fans were no doubt hoping for a big performance from Jokic, but the pivot failed to deliver, just like his team. His statistics? 17 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 6 turnovers and even 6 fouls in the third quarter, synonymous with the end of the game for the MVP contender. A game to forget for everyone.
@DaigMuse : “A clown. He tried to hurt the Thunder players when they were down by 40 points.”
@Stonefoxcapital : “That bad? Funny how people wanted to give him the MVP after Game 1.”
@Dimes4MVP : “Is this your MVP?”
Yes, a match to forget for Jokic and the Nuggets, who didn’t put in a great performance. The series is now tied, and it’s hard to say who will come out on top. What’s certain is that the Thunder are full of confidence ahead of their trip to Colorado. It promises to be a big Game 3, and hopefully a better one for Denver.
