It was a bad night for Draymond Green on Thursday. Not only were his Warriors soundly beaten on the Timberwolves’ floor, but he also received another technical foul after a violent gesture. After the game, he took a swipe at his detractors.
The years go by, but Draymond Green doesn’t seem to be getting any wiser. When he’s on the court, the Warriors’ interior is always just one small detail away from exploding and taking a technical foul. He may know that the referees have him in their sights, that the league won’t do him any favors in the event of a reprehensible gesture, and yet he doesn’t change his attitude.
Draymond Green got T’d up for this elbow (his 5th technical in 9 playoff games this year) and had the nerve to curse the refs out after telling that the tech was “fucking bullshit”. What universe is that guy living in?! pic.twitter.com/wphZ5OhDlj

Draymond Green gets angry after the match
This Thursday, in Golden State’s loss to the Timberwolves, Draymond Green received his 5th technical foul in just 9 playoff games this season. Add to that his lunar warm-up involving Rudy Gobert, and you have a decidedly unique character in NBA history. The problem is, at 35, fans are finding it increasingly difficult to accept his behavior.
In fact, at this stage, some are even wondering whether the former Defender of the Year has anger management issues. As a reminder, last season, after choking Rudy Gobert and punching Jusuf Nurkic, he was sent to a psychologist by Adam Silver himself. Annoyed by this, Green set the record straight on Thursday in Minnesota:
People want to make me out to be the always pissed-off black guy, but I’m not a pissed-off black guy. I’m a very intelligent black man with a very successful career and a wonderful family. I’m a great basketball player, I’m excellent at what I do. The idea that I’m an angry black man is crazy, it makes me tired. It’s ridiculous.
Every time he makes an “unfortunate” gesture on the court, Draymond Green is singled out by fans and observers alike. It’s something he can’t stand any longer, and he’d rather be talked about for his talent and his impact on the Warriors’ game. The best way to do this would be to avoid taking a lunar technical foul in almost every game…
