As we all know, Rudy Gobert and Draymond Green have a lot in common. The Warriors player obviously wants to take advantage, so he has a funny technique for motivating himself. A recent sequence has amused the web.
The Wolves are back to 1-all in the second round of the playoffs. Chris Finch’s men took advantage of Stephen Curry’s absence on Thursday night to get the job done, while Steve Kerr rotated his squad to find a solid rotation. A test for the coach, which seems to confirm that Curry won’t be back anytime soon.
Golden State is preparing to play the rest of the series without the Chief. No risk will be taken on his health, as some might expect, so it’s up to Jimmy Butler, Buddy Hield and Draymond Green to raise their game. Green could be particularly useful if he starts hitting three-pointers.
Draymond Green motivated by Rudy Gobert?
The interior, best known for his defense, is capable of it, but perhaps he needs some extra motivation. During pre-game training this Thursday evening, Draymond was spotted putting plenty of three-point shots in a row. The special feature? A staff member had a Rudy Gobert jersey right in front of him.

Simple chance? Internet users don’t see it that way at all. For them, it’s clearly a motivational tool.

A rather amusing sequence for fans, who quickly noticed Gobert’s jersey. So we don’t know if it’s just a coincidence or a real technique, so we’ll have to find out more about his preparation for Game 3. But if it allows Draymond to punish from long range, the fans won’t complain.
