NBA – Soon-to-be free agent, Guerschon Yabusele already courted by fans of a major franchise!

Guerschon Yabusele, who has made a winning return to the NBA, will have the opportunity to sign a new contract in a few weeks’ time. In the meantime, fans of one of the West’s top teams have been clamoring for his signature.

It was a daring gamble, but it paid off. After an unsuccessful first attempt, Guerschon Yabusele can now be satisfied with having given himself a second chance in the NBA. Building on his experience in Europe and with the French team at the Paris Olympics, he has made a triumphant return – at least on an individual level – to the USA. All the more reason to look forward to a fine reward this summer.

Guerschon Yabusele makes an impression in the West

Yabusele has a minimum contract with the 76ers, which expires on June 30. Good news for him, as he has proved in recent months that he deserves a much higher salary. And while his managers would like to be able to offer him this, others would like to seduce him with a tempting proposition. It’s against this backdrop that APHoops reported Marc Stein’s recent news on X:

The LA Clippers are expected to have a budget of $14.9 million to spend on the free agent market, which Marc Stein believes won’t go down too well with the players involved. Several of them could be forced to sign contracts below their true value.

It remains to be seen whether “Yabu” will fall victim to this phenomenon.

In any case, his photo ended up on this post, amidst those of other future free agents. In this way, APHoops clearly seems to be making him an option for the Clippers to explore, along with other post 4s such as Bobby Portis, Santi Aldama and Mo Wagner. Optimistic messages that counterbalance others more sceptical about the chances of recovering the Tricolor international at low cost:

For the time being, discussions are still ongoing on this issue, which will not accelerate before the end of June and the opening of free agency.
