Although he hasn’t (yet) asked for a trade, Giannis Antetokounmpo seems more inclined than ever to leave the Bucks. And while NBA fans are trying to predict his eventual destination, he’s imagined himself on two… unexpected teams.
Will he wait until after the playoffs to make his decision? It’s impossible to say for sure. In any case, it’s clear that Giannis Antetokounmpo has put his future with the Bucks on hold for the first time in his career. Unsure whether he will ever be able to claim a championship again, he could ask to leave the franchise, as many experts expect.
Against this backdrop, several of the league’s other teams remain on the alert and are ready to negotiate for the Greek this summer. Every move he makes is closely scrutinized, and in the eyes of some, a clue to his future destination. It’s a situation that seems to amuse the main player, especially on social networks.
Giannis undecided about the end of his career
Aware that fans are anxiously awaiting to know his choice, Giannis never ceases to give them grist for their mill via his X account. A few days ago, for example, he revealed the city in which he prefers to play on the road, thereby setting the Internet ablaze. His more recent message on the subject of a possible end to his career… in Europe had the same effect:

Approached by a Fenerbahçe fan, the Greek Freak declared himself open to a future adventure with the famous turkish club.
In any case, he seems intrigued by the prospect of returning to Europe after bidding farewell to the NBA, but is apparently unwilling to return to his native Greece. Indeed, he seems more attracted by the prospect of bouncing back in Istanbul, either in the colors of Fener or one of his local rivals, Anadolu Efes. Both of which would enable him to play in the EuroLeague.
The current Milwaukee star is not the only one to be tempted by Europe’s most prestigious competition. On several occasions, Kevin Durant has also expressed an interest in taking part. The latter has even imagined himself… in Monaco, where his old friend Mike James has been blazing a trail for almost four years now. It remains to be seen whether these words will be followed by deeds in the years to come.
