After a wonderful campaign in Paris, Team France will be out for revenge and gold at the Los Angeles Olympics. Team USA will need an XXL team to compete, and there’s one nugget who’s already come forward. Unfortunately, no one is taking her seriously.

For the first time in many years, Team USA came close to disaster at the Paris Olympic Games. In both the boys’ and girls’ events, the reigning Olympic champions were shaken to their very foundations by an ambitious French team, driven on by the home crowd. Had it not been for an immense Stephen Curry, for example, the result might have been different.

The problem is that the Chief, LeBron James and Kevin Durant will probably no longer be active in Los Angeles for the next edition. In the United States, some specialists are already wondering whether the team will be talented enough to overcome an unplayable Victor Wembanyama and his luxury lieutenants Zaccharie Risacher, Alex Sarr and Bilal Coulibaly.

Brandin Podziemski positions himself for the Los Angeles Games

Fortunately for them, the Americans still have enough time to produce nuggets capable of competing. Cooper Flagg, for example, should have an important role to play if he lives up to expectations. Brandin Podziemski, a young Warriors player, would also like to reach the very highest level and represent his country at the next Olympiad. He spoke on journalist Kay Adams’ show.

I want to become an All-Star as soon as possible. I don’t care if it’s with Steph or when they retire. I want to reach that goal. I also want to compete in the Olympics in 2028. That’s a competition I’ve turned my attention to. I want to become a name that counts, I want to be a player who, surrounded by a few guys, can win the title. That would be ideal for me.

Author of 11.7 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game in his second season in the league, Brandin Podziemski is determined to progress. He doesn’t want to become an indisputable player with the Warriors, he’s aiming for the All-Star Game, or even the US selection for the Los Angeles Games. If he needs any extra motivation, the mockery of Internet users could do the trick.

@playoffjake : Not a soul from the US want him on the team 😭

@AidanLaPorta69 : Neither of those things will happen by 2028 😂

@SpeakContext : I just opened my twitter and saw “podz” wants to play the country I live in and thinks he can be an all-star….? I’ll be back on this app next szn.
