Will you go? Will he leave? The Giannis Antetokounmpo case is still rather vague. What is certain, however, is that the two-time MVP is beginning to lose patience with all the rumors surrounding him. He spoke out on social networks with a nice tackle.
Ever since the Bucks were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs – a now habitual underperformance in Wisconsin – the rumor mill has been churning that Giannis Antetokounmpo won’t make it through the summer. It must be said that it’s now pretty clear that his managers don’t know how to surround him, and that at the age of 30, he doesn’t necessarily have any more time to waste before getting back into the title race in earnest.
His name, like that of all the big players potentially available, has been raised in San Antonio, where everything is being done to put Victor Wembanyama in the best possible conditions. Moreover, in the eyes of certain specialists, the Spurs would immediately become the favorites in the event of a combination between the two monsters in the rackets.
Giannis Antetokounmpo takes on Shams Charania
While he hasn’t said anything since this frenzy began, Giannis Antetokounmpo hears everything that can be said about him, and he’s starting to get annoyed. In fact, he’s even coming to regret the old methods of journalism. At least, that’s what’s clear from his viral tweet about Adrian Wojnarowski. The two-time MVP has a problem with Shams Charania and his way of working.
Does anyone else miss Woj?!

Giannis Antetokounmpo clearly preferred the days when the main transfer rumors were broadcast by Adrian Wojnarowski. The ESPN alumnus spoke directly with executives, whereas Shams Charania seems to talk to agents and entourages instead. Incidentally, this isn’t the first time the Milwaukee superstar has evoked this new journalism.
Once, after a game, someone came up to me and showed me an article saying I wanted to leave Milwaukee. I hadn’t even had time to shower after the game…
What counts today is getting the information out before anyone else, even if it means making mistakes and correcting yourself afterwards. A 2.0 approach that Giannis can’t stand.
