Since the start of the off-season, Kevin Durant has remained linked to the Spurs in the rumors. But could he be reunited with a certain… Bilal Coulibaly? In any case, some fans of the Texan franchise would be delighted.

The hours now seem numbered. If the Suns really want to get rid of Kevin Durant before the draft, they seem to have to accept a certain compromise. No team seems willing to meet their demands as they stand, including the Spurs, whose offer of a few days ago remains firm. Unless a third team like Washington gets involved.

Spurs fans excited about Coulibaly and Durant

Supposedly active on the sidelines of the upcoming draft, the Wizards would particularly like to get their hands on the #2 pick, currently held by San Antonio. Even if it means throwing some “surprising names” into the mix. A three-team deal also involving Phoenix is therefore the subject of a few fantasies, one of which would see Durant join the Spurs with… Bilal Coulibaly, and potentially form this major five:

Without having to part with one of its current stars, or even its Rookie of the Year Stephon Castle, the Texas franchise would in this case strengthen itself with two potential first-teamers. All this, while pairing Coulibaly with his national team partner and former Boulogne-Levallois teammate Victor Wembanyama. A tempting prospect that quickly seduced several fans on X :

@BexarApparel: I’m with it

@ravenwizardd: That’s a nasty lineup. The only West team that i would take over is OKC

@realfoxfan: This team would be so good with a competent bench

@DavisFC2012: With Bilal Coulibaly, défense would be great

On the other hand, other Internet users are very skeptical about the likelihood of such a deal or even the compatibility of all these players:

@grizzgoatsports: Y’all are not getting Bilal and n°6 for n°2

@casonwaIIace: Spacing 💔💔💔💔

@BlessedOrri: No way you get Bilal
