Strengthening the paint is a top priority for San Antonio this offseason, with the goal of helping Wembanyama develop and dominate on both ends of the floor.
Guerschon Yabusele, who has found consistency in the NBA after a strong comeback with the Sixers, is set to receive a significant pay raise this summer as an unrestricted free agent. The athletic and experienced forward has drawn interest from several franchises—including the Spurs. However, competition for his signature is expected to be fierce.

The 76ers want to keep him, but the French connection and the opportunity to play alongside Wembanyama might work in San Antonio’s favor. This move would align with the franchise’s desire to build a competitive roster around its young superstar for the long haul.
Yabusele is expected to have a strong market and shouldn’t have trouble securing a lucrative offer. For the Spurs, his arrival would be a valuable addition to bolster their frontcourt and support Wembanyama.
