Despite a fine performance, the Warriors didn’t take the win over the Wolves on Saturday night. Stephen Curry’s absence was costly, while Draymond Green struggled to assume his responsibilities. He was quickly criticized by the fans.

In the end, it was another defeat for the Warriors, despite fine performances from Jimmy Butler and Jonathan Kuminga. The crowd’s support was good for Steve Kerr’s men, but it was the Timberwolves who won Game 3 to take a 2-1 lead in the series. And that changes everything.

Curry won’t be back for some time, potentially Game 6 according to Shams Charania. If Minnesota wins the next two games, the franchise can avoid this precious return. Fans are therefore expecting a wake-up call from the current players, but we have to believe that Draymond Green didn’t get the memo.

Draymond Green strongly criticized for his game

Already very limited in Game 2, where he escaped ejection in an incomprehensible manner, Green failed to hit the mark on two occasions. With 6 fouls, he was automatically taken out of the game with just a few minutes remaining. His other statistics? 29 minutes of play, 2 points, 5 turnovers and, consequently, 6 fouls leading to his ejection.

Not a great contribution from the interior, far from present in Curry’s absence. And that’s costing his team dearly.

@mfermillionaire : “He cost the Warriors the game. We were up by 6 and when he went out for 6 fouls, we were down by 4. Horrible..”

@NbaAoc : “That’s how most games are supposed to end for him. But thanks to the referees, he usually finishes the match..”

A lot of criticism for Green, although it has to be said that some of the fouls whistled were a little harsh in Game 3. The Dubs lose another game and are 1-2 in the second round of the playoffs. A win is essential if Curry is to make a potential comeback.
