It’s an important week ahead for the Bucks, who may be gambling on the future of their organization in the coming days. Chris Haynes has revealed that the meeting with Giannis Antetokounmpo will take place this week, meaning that the star is expected to make a decision at that time regarding his future in Wisconsin.
Will he ask to leave for a better title contender, or will he decide to reaffirm his confidence in the Bucks organization? No one can really say at this stage. Shams Charania simply explained that the Greek Freak had opened the door to a departure, but we’re still a long way from a trade request.
Which franchise for Giannis Antetokounmpo?
We’ll have the beginnings of an answer in a few days if all goes well, but fans are already eager to know more. According to a few insiders, including Sam Amico, Giannis has a preference for Texas, although nothing has yet been confirmed. We also know that he likes big cities, and he’s just confirmed this himself.
Taking to Twitter this Saturday, the Bucks player took the time to answer a few questions from fans, such as the biggest player in history or his favorite games. And when asked which city he loves to play in when he’s away, his answer was simple:

Knowing that the Knicks and Nets have been mentioned as possible suitors in recent weeks, this response is intriguing to say the least. It’s highly doubtful that the player was trying to sneak in a message about his next franchise, but that’s no way to test the web. Many fans went wild, with humor of course.
