Despite rumors and doubts about his future, Giannis Antetokounmpo decided to answer a few questions this Saturday on his Twitter account. And Warriors fans were quick to see an opportunity for his future.

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s future is set to be decided next week. He could stay longer at the Bucks despite the recent setback, or he could leave for another franchise, with the firm intention of winning a second championship. We know that this is the most important goal for him, so fans in Milwaukee may be worried.

Giannis wants to win, and so far it’s hard to see how the Bucks can promise him a real chance next season. Resources are limited, and with Damian Lillard injured, the roster remains far inferior to the other contenders. Other teams could therefore enter the race… like the Warriors?

Giannis at the Warriors? Fans dream of it

Although The Athletic recently explained that the Dubs aren’t expected to draft a superstar this summer, you should never say never, especially when Giannis makes no secret of his admiration for Steph Curry. Despite the rumors, the Greek Freak took the time to answer some questions this Saturday evening, and several mentioned the Chief.

When asked his opinion of Curry, this is what Giannis replied:

Giannis Antetokounmpo : “Him and Damian Lillard are the greatest shooters in history.”

A clever response from the player, who doesn’t forget to mention Lillard in the mix, despite the fact that he’s not comparable to Curry in terms of shooting. The latter remains the bigger man, and there’s certainly no debate with the former Blazer. But Giannis doesn’t want to upset anyone.

A little later, Giannis reveals that he also spends a lot of time playing as Curry in NBA 2K. That’s all it took for the fans.

@Quinthox : “Come to Golden State !”

One imagines that Giannis is mostly amused by the situation, a few hours after the revelation of his appointment with the Bucks this week. Perhaps because he also knows he’s not going anywhere.
