Fustigated by a section of Lakers Nation following his elimination from the playoffs, Luka Doncic would like to return in better physical shape next year. A photo to this effect has been circulating on the web in recent hours… and has caught the eye of many.

Once again, the Lakers’ summer is set to be one of change. First and foremost, the franchise’s roster, whose limitations were obvious during the playoffs, is due for a shake-up. According to the latest rumours, three of its current members are likely to pack their bags in the coming weeks. Luka Doncic, on the other hand, would seem to have nothing to worry about… yet.

Doncic, who arrived in Los Angeles during the season, also showed some shortcomings during the series against the Timberwolves. This was mainly due to his physical condition, which, for once, left something to be desired. Nevertheless, the Slovenian is said to be determined to work on this point during the off-season and return to form next year. A rumour corroborated by an image that went viral on Thursday on X :

Photographed in the middle of a muscle-building session, Luka is indeed working on his physical appearance in the photo above. Problem: the photo actually dates from… July 2023, when he was preparing for the World Cup. A context that unfortunately escaped the attention of some Internet users, who were thrilled to see this publication:
