Recently sent to the Rockets, Kevin Durant has been the subject of interest from other franchises in recent months, including the Warriors. But when an insider tried to justify his aborted return to Golden State, the Slim Reaper took exception.

With their backs against the wall, the Suns had no choice but to accept the best offer they could come up with, albeit one that fell short of their demands. After all, Kevin Durant had to be traded before the draft if the Suns were to get a package containing a sufficiently attractive 2025 draft pick. This was given to them by the Rockets, who ultimately won this bitter battle.

But while he’s looking forward to playing in Texas, where he spent his only year on the NCAA circuit, the star winger could have landed in another place he knows well. Indeed, the Warriors were among his main courtiers at the last trade deadline, until he vetoed the deal and made it impossible. This refusal has been brought up again in recent hours… which has not left him indifferent.

Kevin Durant breaks down and attacks a famous journalist

Kevin Durant : « We still on this??? Obvious opportunity for Logan Murdock to gain even more attention and try too revive his career by using my name and the Warriors. The audience is SICK AND TIRED of the same bullshit narrative. Be better my man »

Having left the Warriors in 2019, KD has apparently had enough of his time with the team, and more specifically the reasons for his departure, making headlines in the United States.

What’s more, Murdock would be wrong to blame it all on a broken relationship between Steve Kerr and his former player. This rumor (re)launched by the journalist would thus only have the aim of shining a spotlight on him. Following this unconcealed attack on him, Murdock was content to respond with a simple gif that everyone is free to interpret as they wish:
