Golden State will need reinforcements if the franchise wants to help Stephen Curry win one last NBA championship. But be careful to make the right choices… which is why a recent trade proposal has fans fuming.
Time is starting to run against the Warriors. With Stephen Curry now 37, the management must get moving this summer to challenge for the title next year. Who knows how long the Chief will be on the NBA courts? Suffice it to say, the franchise has absolutely no room for error when it comes to recruiting.
While Jimmy Butler was a great acquisition last February, it’s still not enough. Among the team’s biggest weaknesses to adress this summer is the center position, which lacks both size and offensive power. This is why Bleacher Report recently proposed a major trade involving the Celtics:

Kristapz Porzingis to Golden State for Buddy Hield, Moses Moody, Trayce Jackson Davis, and Gui Santos: that’s the structure of the trade… one that doesn’t sit well with the Californian fans, however. While Hield’s arrival wasn’t necessarily a success, and the other players aren’t undisputed staples of the roster, many have categorically rejected such a scenario this coming summer:
@SammyF99 : Mane Hell No
@arthonylee : from Dub Nation, no thanks.
@Shady_Justin : Looks like golden state got ripped off
@LosSoWavyy : why would we give the celtics more shooting & defense for an injury prone player
Because therein lies the problem with the Latvian: despite all his talent and ability to spread the floor, the fact is that he spends more time in the infirmary than on the court. The former Maverick only played 42 games during the regular season before being severely diminished in the series loss to the Knicks. Not exactly a slam dunk, something the Warriors can’t afford.
